This was the reason John Maxwell asserted that” if leadership is pursue for personal gain or recognition, the quality and achievement of such leadership performance will be in a state of quagmire”.
RT. HON. PRINCE OYOVWIKIGHO ADEGOR, who has been privileged to serve his people as a two term councilor and leader of the Ethiope West Legislative arm, came into politics with the primary interest to render quality service to humanity.
His slogan, “Ethiope West Local government Area's chairmanship position is not a business to benefit oneself”, has propelled him (RT. HON. PRINCE O. ADEGOR) to keep rendering quality services to humanity "especially indigent people" across his ward and Ethiope West LGA.
✔️ RT. HON. PRINCE O. ADEGOR during his first term in office, gave out scholarship to three children of late Mr. Agabi Erikefe in Jesse.
✔️ He sponsored the reconstruction of a collapsed building of an aged woman in Jesse.
✔️ Inspite of the economic downturn and inconsistence salary, during his first term, he (RT. HON. PRINCE O. ADEGOR) took care of hospital bills and other immediate needs of the people around him.
✔️ RT. HON. PRINCE O. ADEGOR, also paid some cleaners of the LGA monthly stipends from his personal earnings, due to the economic downturn then.
✔️ Adegor sponsored the enrolment of five (5) students for WAEC and 3 students for junior WAEC .
Furthermore, in his quest to render quality service to humanity, he;
✔️ Renovated a water project at Idjede Aka, Jesse that was abandoned for over 10 years, a project that cost him ₦1.5M. The project covers the provision of new water tanks, new generator set, new pumping machine and pipes.
✔️ Adegor also sponsored a skill acquisition program in Ethiope West, where five (5) persons from each ward were trained on different skills and given starter packs such as; sewing machines, generator sets, pepper grinding machine, welding machines and lot more.
Adegor is a God fearing humble man who is ready to do more by bringing the grassroot closer to the government.
