Vincent Abobo, Hon Richard Ofenor, other executive members and Leadership of PDP in Ethiope-West under the able leadership of Sen Chief Ighoyota Amori P.hD for the successful Congress held in the Council Area today.
The party witnessed the most peaceful LGA Congress as Comrade Vincent Abobo emerged Chairman of the party amidst jubilation. Diplomacy was adopted to advert mayhem which Hon Erhiatake's pocket of fans had planned to cause slow motion to the process when they siege the stadium, the initial venue prepared for the event.
The Party chairman, Chief Solomon Obareki JP was wiser as he quickly changed the venue of the Congress over the security reports he got last night to Civic Center Mosogar, few poles from the stadium. INEC was promptly communicated to this effect and it ended up in huge success. The process was witnessed by INEC, DSS, Police, Civil Defense and other security agencies in the council area.
