Oyovwikigho Adegor, as he has counted it as a cardinal and intrinsic part of his plans to transform the economic landscape of Ethiope West Local Government, if given the opportunity to serve as the Chairman from 2021.Rt. Hon. Prince Oyovwikigho Adegor has a robust and strategic plan to put the agricultural sector in Ethiope West on a path of sustainable growth. There is hardly a family in Ethiope West that is not involved in agriculture, even though most are subsistent in their venture. But Hon. Adegor has resolved that it is time to take farming, which is a very key sector in this country, to the next level. He believes that Ethiope West can be an alternative to Benue State, which is the food basket of the nation and which has witnessed a decline in Agriculture output due to the incessant attacks by Fulani headers on farmers in the state.
Hon. Adegor's administration plans to support agricultural research, mechanisation and other agricultural value chain and incorporate and optimize them for the benefit of farmers in Ethiope West Local Government Area. His administration plans to partner with our development partners like federal and state government agricultural agencies and other well meaning individuals to make sure that access to farming implements and fertilizers are available. That our farmers will enjoy the best agricultural extension programme by partnering with the NPower N-agro scheme so they can provide the right training and advice to our farmers.
These are more are some of the things that Hon. Adegor will be implementing if given the chance to serve as Chairman Ethiope West Local Government Area.
