DR. HENRY OFA (Ph.D) VISITED THE PUBLISHER OF VANGUARD NEWSPAPER "UNCLE SAM AMUKA"

Earlier Today, a Member of the Delta State Post Primary Education Board and Former DESOPADEC Commissioner, Chief Henry Ogheneochuko Ofa Ph.d had a fruitful breakfast meeting with the publisher of Vanguard Newspapers, Uncle Sam Amuka at his residence in Lagos.


Dr. Ofa seized the moment to appreciate the veteran publisher for the role his medium is playing to sustain the nation's democracy even in the face of daunting challenges, intimidation and caging of the media. He praised Vanguard Newspapers for their unbiased reportage of news, and specially thanked them for recognizing the life impacting achievements of the Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa led administration which has culminated in his nomination as the Vanguard Man of the Year.

Dr. Ofa also use the opportunity to present to the Vanguard Publishers audiovisual and printed copies of his book: "Legacies and Testimonies of Service, A Compendium of Gov. Okowa's remarkable achievements.
