HON. BEN IGBAKPA: THE POLITICS OF CONSCIENCIOUS REASON AND THE URGENT NEED FOR A SOLID GROUD IN ETHIOPE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

By Lewis Ebode

General elections are very dramatic for many reasons. In as much as they offer an avenue for the people to solve their challenges using political solutions, they also expose that solutions to the challenges of constituencies can often come in dramatic fashion.

It is either that solutions are allowed by voting in people who already have them handy or they are disrupted by the extension of the problem-causing elements. But wherever there are problems, solutions are unavoidable and must be considered top priority before the entire political landscape slide under the ground to socio-political humiliation.

As the political machines in Ethiope Federal Constituency gather steam, it is an undeniable fact that there is need for urgent transformations because of the lingering unsatisfactory representation. Explanations for the rough tumbled underdevelopments and insufficient people-oriented advocacy have been made invalid, causing the categorical appeal for the confirmation of an exceptional person with the needed charge to weigh in and promote all that means well for the common people.

In the light of the credibility of Hon. Igbakpa and the admiration of his personality which is directly proportional to his ever-present good intention. The people of Ethiope have been persistent in their loud statements, demanding that every other contender for the National Assembly position, aside the candidacy of Hon. Igbakpa can as best be regarded as less prepared marshlands with the high tendency to go downwards under pressure.

Hon. Igbakpa has been consistent in his quest for unity in the constituency with a practical equitable philosophy. He has supported people, regardless of which side of the divide they hail from, in their pursuit of vocational skills acquisition, academic qualifications, and lifelong business opportunities.

Because the people of Ethiope have a good sense of judgement, they have upheld their frank condemnations of the needless monkeyshines that limits their advancements, and in the same vein, sought their conscience for reasons to maintain their support for Hon. Ben Igbakpa. For all they have perceived, they plead that their lives are not complicated any further, and their desires for the man who represents a solid ground in the highpoint of national influence be keenly tasked to lead them.
