Today, I have come to my fellow Ethiopian Youths that the politics that pits us against each other is over. The politics that tells us to settle down for the smallness of our lives is long overdue.
The politics that tells us "it is what leaders tell me I will do; I sell my own property to run administrative work just to please my people" that gets us shut behind is over. The time to end the politics of bitterness, the politics of division and the politics they use to write our destiny for us is now.
This is the time to unite against our political enemies that work against our progress. This is the time to put APC and PDP behind us because this has nothing to do with PDP or APC but about us, our dream, our hope, our future and that of our generations yet unborn. Let's right the wrong for our generations yet unborn to be proud of what we do here today.
This is the time to see our movement as the only option and not party as the option. Sometimes party makes wrong decisions but the unity of a people always rectifies and corrects them at the polls. Because the unity of a people can break down any system. Let's do this together to unite as one people to break down the negative system before us or perish together if divided. I trust the Ethiopians of Delta State when it comes to tough decisions. They've decided that Igbakpa is the answer.
The Fishermen in River Ethiope and the Market women and the Farmers and students and teachers have all made up their minds that no Igbakpa, no House of Representatives.
You see, wherever you see Hon. Ben Igbakpa, you see both Ethiope Eastern and Western youths with him. That's the kind of politics we need right now and not the politics of division and segregation.
We can't continue with the politics of division and segregation and expect different results. We need to embrace the politics that brings both the East and West together like the one Igbakpa plays right now. Where would you see Hon. Ben Igbakpa without seeing the youths from both East and West? It's not possible you see only Western Youths around him because he doesn't run the Western agenda but Ethiopians of Delta State agenda and that is why we need to rally round him like never before. That's all we ever needed. We need love and unity and not hate and segregation.
And while they run the politics of bitterness, Hon. Ben Igbakpa runs the politics of sweetness. And while they run that of division, he runs that of unity and that is why you see the youths from both East and West around him wherever he goes. Whenever the Ethiopians of Delta State see both Eastern and Western people, youths around Hon. Ben Igbakpa wherever he goes, their hope of equity, justice and fairness grows stronger in them. Their trust lives on and their sense of belonging looks towards a possible future.
Igbakpa is the answer for the misrepresentation of Ethiope Federal Constituency.
No Igbakpa, no House of Representatives. Because he's our choice. He's our desire and with him, victory is sure.
